For some reason I find myself fascinated by Melamine dinnerwear. I think because it's such a blast from the past; although the latest designs you see now are nothing like my mom used. I love these robot plates and of course the more sophisticated black and white bird and floral motif. Available at Art Effect Chicago.

Those are interesting but i prefer more traditional dinnerware sets. I've just bought a new set that i saw at Ballard Designs.
I like the color and the patterns, it's really unique and beautiful dinnerware!
